Man admits to I.S inspired lone wolf attack and attempted murder in stabbing rampage at Manchester Victoria Station

A 26-year-old Dutchman, of Somali heritage, has pleaded guilty to attempted murder of three people in an Islamic State inspired lone world terror attack in Manchester.

Mahdi Mohamud stabbed two commuters and police officer in Manchester Victoria Station on December 31st, 2018 while screeching “Allahu Akbar” (Allah is Great) the usual phrase used by Muslim terrorists before they commit atrocities.

Mohamud is a Dutch national from a Somali family who arrived in the UK aged nine and became radicalised online according to the Greater Manchester Police.

Witnesses also described how the attacker could be heard and “Long live the Caliphate!”, a reference to the Islamic State, as he carried out the knife attack.

The Muslim terrorist fist attacked a random man and woman, James Knox, was stabbed repeatedly in the back, shoulders and head being wounded 13 times while his companion Anna Charlton, who was slashed across her face and suffered a punctured lung.

Mahmoud was confronted by policewoman, Sergeant Lee Valentine, but her 50,000-volt taser failed to piece his thick jacket and he managed to stab Sergeant Valentine in the shoulder before being wrestled to the ground by a number of police officers.

While he was first detained under the Mental Health Act, Mahmoud was later found fit to stand trial and is set to be sentenced for his crimes at a later, as yet, undermined date.
