You might as well put the BBQ away this weekend, as the weather is forecast to be anything but BBQ-friendly.

Met Eireann has issued two Status Yellow weather warnings in anticipation of the arrival of Storm Hannah on Friday. The warnings cover counties Cork and Kerry, and will be in place from 6pm on Friday until 6am on Saturday.

There will some outbreaks of rain later today, Thursday, with temperatures reaching 15C at best.

Friday will start off cloudy and dull, as rain spreads across Ulster and Leinster. Winds will pick up on Friday evening, particularly across Munster. Friday night will bring stormy conditions to Munster and Connacht, specially around coastal areas.

Winds will ease towards dawn, and Saturday is forecast to be cool but bright, with occasional showers throughout the day and temperatures reaching 12C.

Sunday is likely to be cloudy and dull, but mostly dry.
