A number of Bank of Ireland customers have reported problems with their VISA debit cards, stating that the cards will not work on retailers’ terminals or on ATMs.
The bank has issued an statement saying that they are aware of the problem and will work to rectify it as soon as possible.
No root cause for the problem has yet been determined. The issue seems to affect customers nationwide.
