No need for the heavy jackets as Met Eireann say temperatures will reach the high teens over the coming days ahead




It looks like we could be in for a warm end to September as Met Eireann have revealed temperatures are to rise to the high teens over the coming days ahead.

The sudden change in weather which will be a welcome change comes after a weekend of wet and miserable conditions across the country that also seen temperatures dip below sub zero.

According to the national forecaster most of the country will see dry and warm conditions throughout Tuesday and Wednesday although light showers are expected throughout the day on Thursday.

Met Eireann say temperatures will rise between 16-18C whilst it will remain predominately dry on Tuesday and Wednesday with little rain although there maybe the light showers in Western regions.

Thursday will be slightly cooler as temperatures will range between 14-16C whilst more persistent showers will sweep in from the West.
