The Dublin Airport operator has announced that it has suspended new bookings at its Platinum Services property to optimise resources.

Close to 1,400 people missed flights from Dublin Airport late last month after huge queues formed outside both terminals.

The Platinum service offered personalised VIP treatment in a 24-hour private terminal for those who use the facility.

DAA say that the service includes private check-in, security, suites, food and beverages, and a “luxury BMW” chauffeured ride to an aircraft.

Under 2022 prices, prices started at €295 per person.

It’s understood that other facilities include a luxurious bathroom with shower, private suites with “the latest audiovisual equipment”, complimentary refreshments and personalized shopping service.
