No summer weather in sight this week

rainyweather

The middle of July is looking fairly gloomy weather wise.

Heavy rain is expected to batter the country throughout most of the morning, though it is expected to clear eastwards over the next few hours.

Sunlight might break through in the North and West, with the rest of Ireland remaining largely wet and windy for the day. Temperature wise, 15-19C is all we can expect today.

The rest of the week is expected to be very unsettled, but early indications seem to point towards a dry weekend ahead.
