92 people are feared dead after a Russian aircraft crashed into the Black Sea yesterday.
The aircraft, a Tupolev Tu-154 model, was en route to Syria when it crashed shortly after a refuelling stop.
The plane carried 64 members of the Alexandrov Ensemble, the Russian Army’s official music group. A number of journalists and servicemen were also on board.
The aircraft was headed to an airbase in Syria, where the musicians were due to perform in New Year’s Eve.
