Wexford General Hospital is dealing with a Covid-19 outbreak affecting “some wards”, reports The Mirror.
Hospital services are continuing as normal and visiting is still allowed, but management will keep the situation under ongoing review.
Officials at the hospital are urging the public “not to visit” if they have any respiratory symptoms or signs of Covid-19.
Mask-wearing might be required in certain parts of the 280-bed facility, which offers inpatient, outpatient, day care, outreach, and emergency services, reports The Mirror.
