Not happy: Indian Ambassador to Ireland slams attacks on Indians living in Ireland

Indian Ambassador to Ireland, Akhilesh Mishra, addressed growing concerns over recent attacks on Indian nationals in Dublin.

Speaking at a community event on Sunday, Mishra condemned the racially motivated assaults, noting a disturbing rise in such incidents since mid-July. He urged Indian residents to remain vigilant, avoid isolated areas, and report any incidents promptly to authorities.

The ambassador emphasised ongoing cooperation with Irish police to ensure community safety and called for stronger measures to combat hate crimes. The statement follows the postponement of India Day celebrations due to heightened security concerns.
