Not so cheap: Dublin is ranked as third most expensive place to stay in Europe

According to newly published survey by British travel website Cheaprooms.co.uk, Dublin has been ranked as the third dearest city to stay in Europe.

The survey which was carried out over the spring season found that on average holidaymakers spent in the region of €142 for a double room in a three star hotel.

According to the travel website, our very own capital city was only less expensive than Amsterdam and Copenhagen who in average charged €192 and €162 per room respectively.

The survey which included forty top European destinations also found that Dublin was dearer than both London and Milan whic averaged costs €127 and €134 per room respectively

Meanwhile the least expensive location was Istanbul at €31, whilst Moscow and Krakow were joint second in the list €50 each.
