Joanna Donnelly, the former Met Eireann presenter on RTE, has decided it’s time for call it quits on her presidential campaign.
In a video on Instagram, Ms Donnelly said: “While I still believe that I have the qualities that would make me a good UachtarĂ¡n na hÉireann, I was naive to think I could meet the challenges of the campaign.”
“Therefore, at this stage, I’ve decided it’s best to withdraw my request for nominations.
She joins Michael Flatley and Bertie Ahern, who both pulled out of the race on Friday morning and afternoon.
