Inspectors working on behalf of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) believe that weather conditions played a significant part in the helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant and eight others.
The helicopter crashed into a hillside near the town of Calabasas, California, on Sunday last. There were no survivors.
Weather reports indicate the presence of low clouds at the time of the crash, with witnesses stating that there was thick fog in and around the hills where the accident happened.
One theory is that the pilot might have intended to fly below the cloud cover, but descended too far and crashed into a hill that he might not have even seen.
The investigation continues.
