The number of people claiming Pandemic Unemployment Payment has fallen to below 210,000.
According to new figures published this week there are currently 209,941 in receipt of the payment.
It is understood that there was dramatic fall in past week with 9,959 people closing their claim.
The latest Mark’s a significant drop given that were over 600,000 in receipt of the payment at the peak of the pandemic.
