The Olympic Council of Ireland (OCI) has announced the appointment of a ‘crisis management’ team, tasked with investigating the ticket touting scandal that has rocked the organization in recent weeks.
The team will include Sarah Keane of Swim Ireland, Professor Ciaran O’Cathain of Athletics Ireland and Robert Norwood from the Snowsports Association.
It is understood that an accountancy firm will also be appointed to review the availability of tickets through the OCI, and how this was handled.
The latest in the saga is that a Brazilian judge has authorised the seizing of FAI chief executive John Delaney’s passport.
Pat Hickey, ex-OCI boss, remains behind bars and is due to appear in court tomorrow.
