Odin, the Inuit Dog that portrayed Bran Stark’s direwolf Summer has sadly passed away after a brave battle with cancer.

The now-famous canine appeared in the first episode of Game of Thrones when it was still a puppy.

Odin had been diagnosed with cancer of the mouth back in November of 2019, and despite donations of about £12,000 for specialized treatment, the animal succumbed to the disease in recent days.

Odin’s passing was announced by its owner, William Mulhall, via social media. Odin is survived by his brother Thor, the dog that played Robb Stark’s direwolf Grey Wind as a puppy.
