Thousands of Eir customers have taken to social media to voice their opinion after they were left without broadband services today.
According to reports, customers across the country experienced outages which lasted for a number of hours this afternoon with some customers still without service this evening.
It is understood customers in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Waterford, Sligo, Limerick, Meath, Louth and Kerry have been affected by the outage which will not be repaired until October 3rd.
Speaking about the technical fault a Eir spokesperson said they are aware of the incident and technicians are working hard to address the issue.
They also apologised for any inconvenience caused by the fault.
