The Dáil will finish for the summer today, and our democratically-ish elected representatives will then head away for an extra long break this year.
It will be 10 full weeks before TDs lift another mobile phone inside the chamber.
The extra time will allow for renovations around the corridors of power, and will also mean that TDs will be back towards the end of September, a short few weeks before the Christmas recess.
