One person is dead, and five other people are injured following a road crash in an Irish county.
The incident happened on the M7 in Portlaoise, Co. Laois, on Monday evening.
A man in his 80s was rushed to hospital but was later pronounced dead. Four other people, including a child, were injured during the crash. It is understood that none of the injuries are life-threatening.
