One fatality has been confirmed after a bus crash in Co. Westmeath.
The incident happened near Moate on Wednesday evening when a Bus Eireann vehicle left the road.
The driver of the vehicle, a 55-year-old male, was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
There were around 20 passengers on the bus at the time, none of whom were seriously injured.
