One fatality has been confirmed, and three other people were injured following a road crash in an Irish county.
The incident, which involved two cars, happened on the N33 road at Richardstown, Dunleer, Co. Louth, at around 5am today.
A male in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene. A female in her 20s was taken to hospital in a critical condition. Two other males sustained non life-threatening injuries.
