One fatality has been confirmed following a road crash in Co. Louth.
The incident happened at Carnalogue, near Louth village, in the early hours of Monday morning.
The deceased, a female in her 20s, was a passenger in a van that crashed into a tree. A second passenger was taken to hospital with serious, but non life-threatening injuries.
