One person has been arrested following a fatal collision between a car and a group of pedestrians in an Irish village.
A man in his 40s is now in custody in relation to this incident, which happened in Dromanallig, Ballingeary, Co. Cork, in the early hours of this morning.
A female in her 50s was pronounced dead at the scene, while another female sustained serious but non life-threatening injuries.
