Gardaí in Dublin have confirmed that six people have been hospitalised after a car accidently hit a number of pedestrians in Dublin city centre last night.
The incident which at the junction of Harcourt Road and Adelaide Road at approximately 6.15pm, has left one person in a serious condition in hospital.
Reports say a number of units from the emergency services attended the scene which also seen five other people taken to hospital.
Gardaí say they are currently questioning the driver of the vehicle in order to determine what happened.
