Over 400 homes are without power this morning after lightning strikes affected a number of ESB networks across the country last night.
According to the ESB there are currently 400 customers in north County Dublin without power this morning after a main power line was struck during the recent bout of bad weather that has also seen many places across the country experience flooding.
Meanwhile a further 31 homes in Co Roscommon are without power this morning after power lines across the county were struck on Tuesday evening.
Although the ESB say crews have worked to restore power to nearly 2,000 homes some residents will be without power until later this morning.
