Close to 15,000 people have now signed a petition to reinstate a doctor who voiced her opinion and opposition to the vaccine.

A popular Derry GP, Dr. Anne McCloskey has been suspended from her position with the Health and Social Care Board (HSCB) “as a precautionary measure while it undertakes a full investigation”.

Dr. McCloskey appeared on a nine-minute video posted last Sunday, allegedly making a number of claims, including that there was not enough evidence that it was safe for young people to be vaccinated reports the BBC.

The BBC report says Dr McCloskey was “distraught” by the number of young people “damaged” by “unlicensed and unapproved” vaccines. She said many young people had been “coerced, bribed or bullied” into being vaccinated and that vaccines were “malevolent”.

Dr. McCloskey cannot work during the investigation and says she stands by her comments about the vaccines.

The online petition is available here.
