An Post has revealed an embarrassing spelling gaffe in its Moon Landings commemorative stamps series.
The stamps contain the word ‘Moon’ in Irish, but it’s incorrectly spelled. The correct spelling is “gealach”, but it’s written as “gaelach” on two of the four stamps released.
An Post has announced that it will take measures so this sort of this does not happen again.
