The next few days will be the busiest of the year for retailers and people working in the service industry.
It’s “the most wonderful time of the year” but it also can be stressful.
Many, many people sometimes forget that they’re not the first people to be dealt with today, and like everyone else, they need their product or service as soon as possible.
But, in just a gentle reminder, put yourself on the other side of the desk this week. People are exhausted and either have or will serve literally thousands of people this week.
From somebody who once worked in the retail industry as a young up and coming part-time journalist, I know all too well how much you respect someone who says “please, thank you and Merry Christmas” this week especially.
