This is not a drill – this is a real life scenario and it’s about time people start taking this pandemic seriously.
At the time this article goes live, there are thousands upon thousands of people partying in pubs, about to go to nightclubs and having left restuarants.
The so-called “social distancing” is nothing of the sort – people simply don’t care. “I don’t have it, I don’t have underlying health, blah, blah, blah” – utter nonsense. People need to start thinking about people other than themselves. This disease can be spread without even knowing you have it.
Many, many countries are beginning to look at Italy and say “uh oh, that’s us in a couple of weeks”, and Ireland and especially the UK are rapidly on their way there now. We need to suck it up, take drastic measures and lockdown Ireland immediately. There is no tomorrow with this thing that no one in the world even knows what it is.
We are living in a time that future generations will be wondering what it was like to live through – this is unprecedented.
