Opinion: Peter Casey was the only honest candidate when asked would he like travellers moving in beside him

More and more people are moving towards Peter Casey for President.

He’s managing to secure people who are sick and tired of the usual pathetic politically correct people usually found stroking each other on twitter.

Casey is NOT that type of person, thankfully as there’s enough of those sad whingers as it is.

No, no – Peter Casey is a man who is willing to speak his mind on issues that people have become afraid to speak out on.

His comments about travellers are a perfect example. Peter condemned how some travellers have turned down free houses because they didn’t have two stables and one acre of land. They’ve been met with massive applause from right-minded people, but of course you get the usual nonsense from the pathetic cowards who hide behind annoymous twitter accounts petrified of free speech and in desperate need of their “safe space”.

Casey on the other hand simply doesn’t care. In my opinion, and anyone with an ounce of intelligence, Peter Casey was the only honest candidate on last night’s debate.

Pat Kenny, to be fair to him, was a very professional moderator. He was fair but tough and he did throw in a few curve balls, especially asking Higgins what the difference between going to Derry and Belfast was.

But when he asked all the candidates whether they’d like travellers moving in beside them and they all said they would no problem whatsoever, Peter Casey was the only honest one when he said he would have.

Let me be clear, not all of an community are one thing just as not all travellers are good or bad, but truth be told we’ve all seen horrendous sites left after they leave covered in rubbish and burnt ground. Who would honestly want a mess like that left beside their house? No one, if they’re honest like Peter Casey.

The Fine Gael, Fianna Fail and Labour candidate Michael D Higgins already ran from one debate, he’s skating on thin ice as it is and Peter Casey has one more week to close the gap and overtake him. Here’s hoping.
