Opinion: Two taxpayer-funded millionaires will tell “the little people” of Ireland how they should survive on €350 per week

Tonight’s Late Late Show is going to take the biscuit.

On one hand, you’ll have host Ryan Tubridy who pulls in €10,000 a WEEK, heavily funded from the hardworking taxpayer.

He’ll be “interviewing” the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins – a lifelong socialist who batted for the Labour Party before entering the Aras.

Higgins pulls in a whopping €325,000 per year from the Irish taxpayer.

These two men, with their properties, contracts and salaries to date are guaranteed millionaires, and possibly even multi-millionaires, who knows?!

Over the last number of weeks, Tubridy has been Ireland’s answer to Jerry Springer, appearing to use similar language to the American’s “look after yourselves and each other”.

Higgins has been living in the Phoenix Park, getting his food handed to him morning, evening and night and driven anywhere he wants to go in a top of the range BMW 7 series.

These men will no doubt proclaim to be the “every man” and tell the hardworking Irish public what they should be doing with their €350 per week payment.

Some things really are just hard to swallow and these two millionaires patronising the Irish public is right up there at the very top.
