Organisers have confirmed that a football match between an Ireland legends XI and Liverpool Legrns XI will take place in April, in aid of the SupportSeán Sean Cox foundation.
The match which will also have a gala dinner will be held on April 12th, and all funds raised will be donated to the Sean Cox Rehabilitation Trust.
The news comes as Mr Cox who was seriously injured before Liverpool’s Champions League match with Roma last April, continues his rehabilitation.
Organisers say further details regarding ticket sales will be announced in the coming weeks.
