Oscar-winning actress Louise Fletcher has passed away aged 88.
Fletcher was perhaps best known for playing Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest opposite Jack Nicholson. That particular role was her first after returning to acting following an 11-year break.
It is understood that she passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in France.
