In startling revelations, Our Lady Of Lourdes in Drogheda, Co. Louth officially has the most expensive hospital car park in Ireland.
At €4 an hour, it’s dear enough, but it gets very expensive if you have to stay overnight.
A stay of 4 hours will cost you €15 while a full day stay will cost a whopping €40 to get your car out of the carpark.
Many relatives of patients, in particular staying in the A&E area, are outraged at how expensive the pricing for the hospital car park actually is.
One local told The Liberal:
“It’s a disgrace, the whole town has gone parking-free until June while the Lourdes is the most expensive hospital car park in the country.”
