Out of a population of almost 5,000,000 – Ireland has less than 10 people in ICU from coronavirus

The majority of people are complying with regulations and guidelines. They’re wearing their masks, staying 2 metres apart, washing their hands basically not doing anything out of the ordinary unless absolutely necessary.

With all that in mind, there appears to be a growing voice on social media and wider fields of people who say that they’re not going to comply with anymore guidelines and that the regulations, restrictions and indeed lockdowns do not match the numbers presented by the HSE.

As of Saturday evening, the reported number of people in Ireland with coronavirus who were in intensive care units was 7 with a possibility of 4 more people going into ICU which stood at less than 10 but possibly up to 11.

God love all those people and their families, but many people are pointing out that it’s literally less than 10 people out of a population of close to 5 million and that the restrictions, guidelines and all that go along with them are not justified compared to the numbers presenting with coronavirus and becoming so sick that they’re admitted to intensive care units.

What do you think? Are the restrictions and guidelines justified? Tell us your thoughts in the Facebook post and share this with your friends.
