Outrageous: More than 500 patients are without a bed in hospitals across the country




According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organization’s most recent statistics, 506 patients nationwide were left without a bed on Wednesday, reports Breaking News.

There are 157 patients in other hospital wards and 349 individuals waiting in the emergency room.

University Hospital Limerick has 104 patients without beds, making it the hospital with the most patients on trolleys.

There are 60 patients across the hospital, 40 of whom are in the emergency room, reports Breaking News.

At Cork University Hospital, there are 58 patients without beds, 51 of them are in the emergency room.

There are 39 patients in the emergency room and 53 patients without beds at University Hospital Galway, reports Breaking News.
