Over 200 people are thought to have perished after a ferry sank in crocodile-infested Lake Victoria in Tanzania earlier today.
Forty-four bodies have so far been recovered from the water.
Local authorities say that the boat appeared to be overloaded, and that as many as 400 people may have been on board.
Disasters such as this are common in the area, as ferries and other craft are often poorly maintained.
