Overcrowding at Irish hospitals keeps hitting record highs, as 655 people were waiting for a bed as of this morning.

The main offender was once again University Hospital Limerick, where 109 people were languishing on trolleys.

Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly maintains his trademark hands-off approach on the issue, only surfacing at the end of the month to collect his salary.
