The current hospital overcrowding crisis is showing no signs of slowing down today as one Dublin hospital was forced to move adults into its children’s ward.
In a move that has been described as unavoidable Tallaght Hospital say they were left with no option this morning but to issue beds to adults on its children’s wards.
Although management at the hospital say the move is only a temporary measure it will more than likely put more pressure on the Minister for Health Simon Harris who has been criticised for his handling of the crisis.
Tallaght Hospital say they hope to rectify the situation quickly and that all eight beds taken up will go back to being used by children once the crisis has eased.
