Speaking after today’s verdict, Irish rugby player Paddy Jackson thanked the Judge, the Jury, his legal team and his family.
Today saw all charges of rape dropped against both Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding. Their two other friends saw their charges dropped as well.
The Jury was made up of 8 men and 3 women and returned a unanimous decision that all four men were innocent and not guilty of their charges.
The case was described as being one of the most difficult in Northern Ireland’s history.
