Panda Power has announced its intentions to leave the Irish market, a move that affects around 50,000 electricity customers and around 10,000 gas customers.
The company is blaming unsustainable rises in wholesale energy costs for the move.
Other suppliers, including Iberdrola, GlowPower, and Bright Energy have also exited the Irish energy market for similar reasons.
