The River Seine is continuing to rise rapidly after record levels of rainfall have fallen over the past 72 hours in Paris, France.
Hundreds of people in the city have been forced to evacuate their homes due to severe flooding.
According to French media a number of popular tourist destinations including the Louvre have been closed in order to avoid further damage.
Meanwhile tunnels and road networks across the city have also been closed as a precautionary measure with waters set to rise above 20ft.
The mass evacuation comes after the river reached a staggering 18ft high on Friday at the Austerlitz Bridge which is located in the east of the French capital.
