A Parisian mayor has voiced her support for a group of French Generals who put their names to an open letter warning that should President Macron fail to stop the spread of Islamism and the ādisintegration of Franceā a military coup would be necessary.
Rachida Dati, mayor of the 7th arrondissement, says that the concerns expressed in the letter were valid.
āWhat is written in this letter is a reality,ā she told France Info radio on Friday. āWhen you have a country plagued by urban guerrilla warfare, when you have a constant and high terrorist threat, when you have increasingly glaring and flagrant inequalities… we cannot say that the country is doing well.ā
The letter was signed by over 1,000 government officials, police officers and both serving and retired military officers, including 25 Generals.
France has a massive and rapidly growing Muslim population that has turned much of the Urban sprawl in the country in so-called āparallel societiesā that more resemble Third World Muslim slums.
The country has also endured numerous massacres and atrocities at the hands of Muslim terrorists in recent years.
