Parnell Square Brazilian who helped Caio Benicio says he’s ‘heartbroken’ over Southport attack

A similar occurrence occurred in Southport, and the Brazilian delivery driver who stepped in to stop a frightening knife assault in Dublin has voiced his grief over it, reports Dublin Live.

In the November 23 incident on Parnell Square East in Dublin, three children and a creche worker suffered serious injuries; one kid remains in the hospital.

The family of the little girl has also sent out a supportive message, stating, “Our hearts go out to the families of the children in England,” reports Dublin Live.

Rio de Janeiro native Caio Benicio repelled the assailant outside Gaelscoil Colaiste Mhuire by using his helmet. Caio has now expressed his support for the families impacted by the terrible tragedy as well as the residents of Southport.

On the Go Fund Me page ‘Buy Caio Benicio a pint’, he expressed his sorrow over the news. He posted: “It’s awful to see history repeating itself with innocent children being attacked. I am sending so much love and solidarity to the Southport community and I wanted to share how you wonderful people who supported me last year can do the same,” reports Dublin Live.
