QuickQuid, one of Britain’s few remaining payday loans firm, is set to close after a tidal wave of complaints by customers.
Regulators found that as many as 3,000 complaints had been lodged in the first six months of this year alone.
Another popular quick loans company, Wonga, was forced to shut down in 2018 after a litany of complaints were levied against it.
