The payment date for the Christmas bonus for Social Welfare recipients has been announced.
An estimated 1.6m people will receive the bonus, which amounts to 100% of the Social Welfare payment, during the week starting December 7.
People who have been receiving the Pandemic Unemployment Payment (PUP) for over 17 weeks will also receive a Christmas bonus.
