A 30-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital this evening, after being struck by a car in Galway early this morning.
The incident happened near Bushy Park, on the Moycullen Road, at around 1.40am.
The man was rushed to University Hospital in Galway, where he remains in a critical condition.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact Galway Garda Station on 091-538000 , the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
