A pedestrian has been left in a critical condition in hospital following a hit-and-run incident in Dublin.
The incident happened on the R108 Ballymun Road on Thursday afternoon.
The victim, a male in his 60s, was rushed to the Mater Hospital for treatment. The car failed to remain at the scene.
