Social media users are saying that they’re spending hours and hours in A&E trying to get admitted into hospital.
People say that they can no longer take what the government is doing to this country. Some people are calling for an early election, while others say that heads should roll over the deplorable state of the health department.
In yet another indictment of successive failed governments here, almost 25,000 people were forced to wait for 24h or longer to be admitted from A&E across Irish hospitals over the first five months of 2022.
Figures say that 8,204 of those were aged 75 or over.
