People are saying that they’ve had enough. Rising fuel prices at the pumps have dominated the second tier of news headlines around the world over the past week after the Ukraine crisis.
The Irish government is blaming the conflict on the rise in fuel prices, but people are well aware that their extortionate tax and VAT on fuel prices are true reason we’re paying through the nose to drive.
Many people on social media say that they’re now going to start carpooling to work and social activities in an effort to offset the price hike.
They say that they’re going to half or even quarter the price of fuel by each passenger throwing in a few quid to make their destination.
