Penneys reopens tomorrow around the country for a click and collect appointment only.

The shop is a favourite for many people, with the retailer reopening for click and collect from early morning.

The top retailer announced that they were offering people appointments via online bookings with over 250,000 booking appointments in their 36 shops over the coming week until they reopen fully on May 17th.

However, shockingly, some people who managed to bag an appointment have tried to sell them online for anything between €100 and €300.

Penneys say that people who got appointments had been sent emails with their appointment details which include being allowed into the store for one hour, 45 minutes for shopping and 15 minutes to get to the tills.

A number of social media posts saw people saying that they had an appointment and that people could DM them if they were interested in buying it.

What do you think? Would you buy an appointment if you could? Penneys say that only those who’ve been given appointments will be allowed into the stores and that they must show proof of their appointment.
